Like any organization, Kehilla has expenses such as staff salaries and benefits, insurance, utilities, supplies, printing, postage, mortgage payments, and communications technology.  We financially sustain the community through our membership dues, capital campaign, program fees and tuition, and donations.

In Jewish tradition, joyous occasions as well as remembrances are marked with a tzedakah donation, often to the synagogue. You may donate to Kehilla's general operating fund, or you may earmark your donation to the Terumah project (our capital campaign), the Rabbi's Discretionary Fund, the Youth Education Scholarship Fund, to name a few.

Your contributions to Kehilla are generally tax deductible, although you should consult a tax professional to determine if this is true for your situation. Often, there are tax advantages to donating appreciated stock or securities; again, consult a tax professional for guidance.

To make a donation, please send a check payable to Kehilla to 1300 Grand Avenue, Piedmont, CA 94610. If you would like to designate your donation for a specific fund , in honor of an occasion or person, or in memory of someone, please note that in the memo line.

We anticipate that by the end of July you'll be able to make your donation online, using a credit card. Stay tuned!
