Celebrate Tot Shabbat with us on the fourth Friday of every month at 6:30pm! For babies and children up to 5 years old and their families.

If there are young children in your family, you are warmly invited to bring them to Tot Shabbat. It's a wonderful way to introduce them to Shabbat and to other Jewish families.

We love the fact that we have all kinds of families at Tot Shabbat. Some have two Jewish parents and some have one. We have gay families, multiracial families and families with single parents. Sometimes grandparents bring their grandchildren.

Led by Jen Miriam Kantor, we gather with songs at 6:30pm.  At about 6:45 we light Shabbat candles, say blessings over grape juice and bread, and eat a vegetarian potluck. After dinner we have a very brief child-friendly service. It's not a problem when children with early bedtimes leave early.

Tot Shabbat is a lot of fun for our youngest congregants and their parents. We hope you decide to join us to celebrate Shabbat on the fourth Friday of the month.
