Kehilla Community Mi Shebeirach (Prayer) List Email Article To a Friend View Printable Version

If you would like the community to keep you or another Kehilla member in their thoughts and prayers this Shabbat, please fill out the Mi Shebeirach Form.

The healing power of our community is available to us in many ways. One of them is during the Torah service, when we mention the names of loved ones who are ill or recovering as part of the healing prayer–the Mi Shebeirach. On behalf of ourselves and those named during that time, we pray for physical cure as well as spiritual healing, while asking for blessing, compassion, restoration, and strength.

Thanks to the joint efforts of the Chesed Committee and the Spiritual Life Practices Committee, and the glorious efforts of Richard Miles, we now have a Mi Shebeirach list!

If you would like the community to keep you or another Kehilla member in mind this Shabbat, and include you/them in their thoughts and prayers, please fill out and submit the online Mi Shebeirach Form.  A link to this form will also be included in the weekly emails. The names submitted on the form by 4pm on Thursday will be read by a community member or by the service leader during the healing prayer and placed in the weekly email. Names submitted will be kept on the prayer list for four weeks, unless you indicate you would like it to be otherwise -- either for a longer or shorter time. Any additional information provided will help the Chesed committee to provide further assistance, if requested.
